Aerobat was founded by José-Miguel Batalla on 3rd
November, 1986 as a partnership, being converted to a private limited
company “Aeronautica Batalla, S.L.” 3 years later, although
it continues to use the well established trading name of Aerobat.
After handcrafting his own propellers for himself and a few flying friends, José-Miguel noted an increase of 20% in both yield and economy compared with the original propellers of the first American ultralights. This gave him the idea of creating Aerobat, a company mainly dedicated to the manufacture, sale and repair of propellers for light aircraft, but also to selling ultralights and other aeronautical equipment. From our beginnings we have maintained our guiding principal of offering quality products based on first class design and service. Amongst our successes is that the majority of World, European and National Paramotor Championships (as the motors used are very low power, the propeller becomes a key element) have been won and continue to be won with Aerobat propellers. This considerable success enabled us to make a technological quantum leap toward the end of 2003, when we opened new installations offering both considerable production capacity and unlimited design capacity. The same team of craftsmen with their considerable experience in giving our propellers the ultimate touch in both fine tuning and balance, is now complemented by powerful digitally controlled design and manufacturing equipment. |
